I always get “What year?” and “I or so-and-so had one”. It’s nice to see the thumbs up from people.

As I was turning on to a neighborhood street a 40 something lady in a 2020 Ford Raptor coming the other way slowed down, rolled down her window. I thought she may need directions. She just wanted to get a better look at my 73 and yelled "that thing is awesome!"

All the time and I’m amazed on how many actually know what it is! I always get the “is it for sale?” ... I always reply yep, I have a number! Although my wife says whatever and rolls her eyes! Funny thing is “the number” has gone up a lot lately :)

I get compliments just about every time I go somewhere with either Bronco. One of the best was a half mile from home at a traffic light a guy in a lifted F-350 looks over and says “dude I like your Bronco”, at the next light a block away a chick in a Mercedes convertible looks up at me and says “l love your Bronco”! Makes you smile doesn’t it....

All the time. I even put on an indoor car show the first weekend in march every year. I never display the bronco an park it in the back of the civic center behind a curtain and it gets as much attention and compliments as the cars in the show

Went to a car show near me this past weekend, going to look, not to enter. Guy at the gate asked if I was going to enter, I said no it was not finished, but he said it was a fund raiser and was only $10, so I gave in. It was 9am and didn't bring a chair, so I looked at the other cars and just stood around the Bronco. I got a lot of nice complements and talked to quite a few people. Awards and drawings were at 12 so I stayed for them and won a nice flashlight in the drawing. Awards were next, they called out about 30 for various things...nothing. Then the top ten..... I came in 5th overall out of about 150 entrys. I guess I should have washed it!!

I get lots of attention....sometimes too much, lol.
I get gas during off hours if I am not feeling real talkative...lots of attention when I am getting gas.

Something funny happened the other day cruising around Disney at lunch and it is not the first time.

Grown man sticks half of his body out of a Chevy Equinox Rentacar and screams to me that he loves my eb and that he has one too but he is stuck in this stupid Equinox rentacar on vacation with his wife....yup she started smacking him on his back to get back in the car. As he was getting his body back in the moving car he noticed my stickers on my side windows that say,
Classicbroncos.com
And
Bronconut73....

His eyes lit up and he screamed, "Hey Bronconut I know you I'm ahhhhhh, ouch, shit ...." his wife started beating him again before he could tell me his handle here on CB and then they pulled into Disney's Animal Kingdom...
Never figured which one of you it was but you were damn funny and made my day!!!!

A little irony....but don't tell anybody....
I believe Richard Duff (yes that Duff) designed the previous generation Equinox...lol....
Oh the irony!
And more proof that you're never more than 6 degrees away from a Duff if you drive an eb long enough, lol.

I finished my first EB for a parade but decided it wasn't parade ready. I had never driven it on the street so I wasn't comfortable putting it in. But we drove it to the top of the road from our house to watch the parade. Got a thumbs up after the parade was for the 1/2 mile trip back down the road. I sadly had to sale it the next month due to a lay off, but at least I got my thumbs up.

I have never gone anywhere that someone hasn’t given me a compliment or a thumbs up. I have had people drive beside me on the four lane and holler is it for sale? I have been offered 2017 f-250 trade and a 2016 Chevy Silverado trade. I don’t know if they would have if I said yes. I’ve also had people beg me to name my price.

Remos69 you reminded me of what happened to me end of last summer. I decided to drive over to a big "Cars and Coffee" event. Didn't even clean the bug splatter off the '66 windshield, just went to look, maybe try to find something to buy. Didn't know they had decided to do a peoples choice award thing at this one, usually a C & C is just a very informal get together of car guys/gals to shoot the bull. Was VERY surprised to hear my Bronco had won 2nd place out of over 1,000 cars/trucks. Unreal! Here's the link -

Like everyone else, lots of comments.... The one thing that strikes me is that if you were to believe everyone I speak to, at least 3/4 of the country has personally owned a Bronco or had a close family member own one.... :)

I get a thumbs up from Jeep guys all the time, Heck last week I had an 80+ year old women in a Buick pull up next to me in traffic, roll down her window and yell "NICE BRONCO".;D

My funniest comment... I pull up to a convenience store awhile back as a teenager walks out. When I stepped out of my bronco he said to me, "Hey, that's a nice Je... uh, uh, hey... what is that any way?"

After I quit laughing I kindly educated him. ;D At least he was smart enough to know it wasn't a Jeep.
