Door hinge pin repair kit question

I ordered and received a hinge pin repair kit from JBG this week. Just started to do the first hinge and the directions say to drill out one half of the hinge "A" to 17/64 if needed and the other where the bushing goes "B" to 7/16. OK, but then they say "press new bushing into hinge side "B" and drill with a letter size "L" drill bit to accept new hinge pin." What the heck are they talking about here??????
