My doors are completely dis-assembled for paint. Now i am ready to put it all back together. I need help with order in which to do it and any tips on how not to scratch the new paint. This is what I am thinking as far which order

1 exterior trim
2 window felt / anti rattle kit ( new )
3 door locks/door handle/door latch
4 regulator and glass

Thanks for your help

use masking tape around the install locations- should give you a little extra protection. Your order looks ok. Careful with the felt/anti rattle stuff

I agree with the 1, 3, 4, 2 although I had no exterior trim....although I would add the stop to 4...you may have to loosen it a time or two during the process...but its better to be in there as a catch and then swing it out of the way when you need to...then to have the glass get away from you.

Thanks all I put on the exterior trim today. Sounds like latch and rods are next.
