Door won't open?

The push button on my drivers door does not work. I took the door apart and the rod from the button to the latch has come off.

My question is what holds the peg on the rod in the hole on the latch?

should be small white clip. the vendors sell them if you can't find yours.

It could be a metal clip. It should be in the bottom of the door.

Thanks. I can't find that clip, Driven Auto Parts is pretty close to me I will see if I can pick one up from Randy on Monday.
