Drilling 2" holes in 3/16" Plate what can I use/ bi-metals or ?

I use anti sieze on hole saws. Sticks to the teeth better than oil. Just drilled about 20 holes in 3/16 steel with 7/8 bit and it's still sharp.

Take your pattern with you to the steel yard alot of them do cut work and may give you a decent price. dont know if you dont ask.

We cut two inch holes in 3/16 steel using several holes saws, lots of oil and the drill press, at a pretty slow speed. You will still tear up the saws but you can get the job done.

Got her done this weekend. WD40 did the job the hole saw I ended up using was a Bosch 2 5/8" a bit bigger but the hole pattern looks better too. Used the drill press, 320 rpm was the slowest unfortunately. and the table was a bit off so the start was a bit rough but I cut 1/2 way on each side and it cleaned up nicely. Thanks for the advise and words of encouragement;D
