Wow sure enough, I'd not seen this yet. Definitely a cheaper way to have a drip rail chrome top, than driving across the country for a $500 rusted out top with a chrome rail.

I just hope it's anodized aluminum like the original. If it's cheap Chinese chrome it will rust in no time.

if you spend that much you better make a tool like the pinch rollers ford use back in the day to mount and crimp it down, unless you are going to glue it on.

Let us know what you think of it when you get it!

Tops off now and later this summer I'm putting in a new bedliner b4 putting it back on so that'll be the time to do it. may not get it til August or Sept. but I'll post back then. Someone else will probably beat me to it. :)

Yes the original trim is very difficult to remove without bending it. I installed a NOS set on my 71 Baja a few years ago. I suggest if u paint the top first...go very lightly over the drip rail so there’s not excess buildup of paint ...the trim fits over the rail easier that way. Also..if installing on a top that never had the drip rail trim...u must remove the 4 existing clips that are on the drip rail. Two over door windows and two over the back rear quarter windows. The trim will not fit over these crimped clips. Here are the clips that need removed first. The new trim basically clips over the drip rail. as I remember...I put the top edge on first and clipped it under the rail...working my way slowly. I think the front to pieces went on first then overlapped by the rear two longer pieces. Don't take my word for it..its been about 10 years ago. You'll be able to tell by the overlap .

Here is how the new trim will look once installed. this is NOS trim on my Baja and it was pretty ridged. I hope the new trim is as good as the NOS stuff.

Drip Rail Clips for Top

Does anyone have a good source for replacement drip rail clips, or connectors, for hard tops?

I think he is referring to the small overlapping clips that cover the joins between segments. Can't say whether those are included in the drip rail reproductions, but presumably so. As to indiividually, I don't know.
