Drivers seat mount, factory holes?

On the passenger side seat mount, all of the bolts go into a re-inforced area of the body. It doesn't appear to be that way on the drivers side, but I cant say for sure because there are so many holes in the drivers side floor from the previous owner hack job repairs & seat mounting.

Are the factory bolt holes for the drivers seat in a reinforced area of the body, or do they just go thru the sheet metal of the floor? That's how it seems on my Bronco, but I might not be in the factory holes.

If I look at the bottom of the drivers side there is one re-inforced hole maybe 2" in front of the outboard seat belt mount. Was that the factory rear seat mount? If I use that one, the other side rear bolt doesn't line up to any existing hole.

Thanks in advance.

There are reinforcements on the driver side to, they are ribbed strips that have the threads in them. I just had to drill my seat mounts tonight into fresh sheetmetal, I was very happy that I hit all of them right but 1 and that was just a tad off and ripped the threads but I can bolt that one.

Thanks for the quick reply. On the outboard rear I see the ribbed strip on the bottom of the body, however, on the inboard rear bolt, I dont see any ribbed strip underneath. Mine is a 69, how about yours?

The 2 rear are in the ribs, inboard and outboard, the front ones are inside the brace that is right at the bend. I bolted up the rear bolts, then marked and drilled the front ones, got pretty close. I think the tub is a 69 also.

Hmmm....now I'm wondering if my sliders and the brackets bolted to them are factory. I looked at some pics of sliders/brackets, and mine look the same, but without measurements, its a guess. If I slide the seat back roughly 3.5", I catch the rear outboard bolt but then there are no holes where the front brackets are falling. You wouldn't happen to have pics???
