Anybody have any experience with the Duff rocker covers with the nerf bars?
I am starting to like them. They reinforce the rocker and the nerf tube keeps the trees and rocks off your doors. They seem like a good compromise from the true rock rails or replacing the rocker with square tube which the latter is a bit extreme for me.
Is there something about them that is not good?
I don't see many eb's running them.

Here are mine,I got them more for a step than a rock slider.I'm happy with them I can use the floor jack under them to lift. Painted them with rustolem truck bed liner spray, nice texture and easy to touch up. They come in 1/8 & 1/4 thick, mine are the 1/8th.

Excellent pictures.
I am really starting to like these!
I would probably get the 1/8" too.
Thanks for the response EB Brother.

I was hesitant to put the nutcerts into my rust free rockers. They also come in handy for loading the roof rack. I think you don't see more because of the cost,$399+$100 shipping.

My wife really likes these for her 74. The problem is not so much the price. It's the display vehicle they have them on. Now my wife wants pink flowers on her rig.

;D On the flowers!

We actually haven't been doing the 1/8" with side tubes standard because we end up with a little warpage when we weld the tube to the slider. It was that way for years, it cinches up just fine if you're willing to believe us BUT we had one shop that absolutely refused to believe us and try it, so instead of running into the issue again, we just decided to eliminate the issue. Most people that are going to end up in the rocks want the 1/4" anyway. We did the 1/8" first. That is what I ran on Hi Ho until I made the unfortunate mistake of going to the Arizona Stampede and running with Randy's crew, all of which have no lowers of any sort... Uh huh, BIG rocks and 5000# Bronco landing on the rocker don't go together. Lessons learned if you're going to go big: #1 pay attention to the other rigs you are going out with & #2 thicker or bigger is always better...
