Dynacorn door & window track

Hey all,

I am having an issue with a dynacorn door and installing the window track. The dynacorn door comes in two parts: the door and the hoop. The hoop is secured to the door with bolts on both sides. This is different from my old factory doors. The issue I am having now is that the window track cannot seat all the way down because the bolts that are holding the hoop in place are preventing it from seating all the way in the groove. See pics below for what I am talking about. I know that I'm not the first person to have this issue. What are my options? Trim down the bolts? I'm afraid that even if I do this option that the receiving nut on the back side of the hoop will still prevent the track from seating all the way. This is fresh paint, so I'm not trying to weld it... All assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

On early Broncos (I have a 68) the hoops (upper window frame) were bolt in.

I would install a shorter bolt, or shorten the one you have, since it is painted.

The bolt in my door is 1/4" long.

Alright, perfect! I was worried that even with the bolts shortened that it would interfere with the track. Glad to hear that it doesn't. Thank you!
