I was going to order a sound deadener. I see a lot of people use Dynamat. I also saw on Ebay a brand called Rattle Trap. The Dynomat is $142 for 36sq.ft the Rattle Trap is $199 for a 100sqft. Is the Dynamat worth the extra money?
At this point, as much money as I have in my Bronco. If I could save and it isn't an inferior product I will.

Thanks

Paul

I used fatmat from the same company. Great quality product and I had no problems installing it. I noticed no smell from the product either. I put it in my doors, on my floor and along the fender wells. I would highly recommend it.

I've used dynomat and it's great stuff....but, it's very expensive. There's some other stuff out there that is as good and is about half the price. I bought a roll of it a couple years ago and had enough to do the entire truck....but I can't remember the name of it.

Doe some searching on here and I'm sure you will find the name of it. I believe I got the name from someone on CB.

Good luck.

X2 on the fatmat. Pretty nice stuff, reasonably priced compared to others and forms well to contours.

I also used some foam that had foil backing on both sides on the floor boards that worked well to insulate from heat and provided some padding under the carpet.

Google search "dynomat alternative" you'll get a bunch of info/opinions on peal and stick products sold at the home centers, I haven't tried it myself but defiantly cheaper and easy to go check out before you buy.

Not meaning to steal, but had a question in using these type of product underneath the body from firewall to back of bed. spray raptor liner over it, then inside body. Will it adhere to foil back and stay. Idea is to keep the floor look inside cab but with raptor liner that will be same color as paint on body.

I have Rhino liner inside the cab from firewall to tailgate, then fat mat (great product and reasonably priced) and carpet. All is well.

Using either product under the body? I have no experience with that. Sounds like a mess.
