Early 66 hood value

Hello,

Do the early 66 hoods have a greater value than any other year in the same
condition ? Thx

Well they are rarer being a '66 only I believe.

So to someone restoring a '66 I would think so.

I think its just the bracing underneath that's different. So you could try asking more but you may sit on it longer. I'd rather have the satisfaction of helping someone out and sell it like any other hood if a buyer came along that needed a hood

Believe the prop rod goes in different spot as well.

Not sure about the prop rod location,but for sure early hoods had the 4 post supports. Looking for one myself close to NJ. Just drove 5 hrs last weekend to see Drew Peroni and pic up a set of 66-67 doors and got a dash pad as well.

hood

The windshield sqirters are also in a different location to line up with the vacuum wiper units. I have not found these to be any more valuable but it is a pain when you need to find one for a restoration. nice one $300- $350
