I've seen several threads talking about the Mustang Bench swap, but did anyone ever do it? Pics please!
There is one for Sale here in MN, but it's Black.... Would love one in white.

I just bought some '67 buckets. Will the EB brackets swap without modification? Kinda cool, Mustang buckets (Side Chrome) can be seen in an early sales flyer.

bench swap

I would like to see this too. I have a 66 coupe with the factory bench seat. Supposedly only 3% of mustangs had a bench so they are kind of rare. Would be nice for my bronco. Anyone know what other years had a bench?

Mine is the first pic posted. It is near MINT condition with zero rust. Even if you do find one, they are almost always in need of a rebuild, after a stripping and blasting. I have seen a few on eBay, but they are almost always rusty underneath. Sorry boys, mine is not for sale...yet!

The frames are same as Mustang. Some extra mounting tabs are welded to the Bronco tho. You will need to remove or fab new ones for the Mustang seats. I like the thinner backs. In a halfcab it gives a little more room behind seats. Both Mustang seat backs fold in toward the center, but Bronco buckets both fold to same side. If you have the stock Broncos, all that needs to be changed is the seat foam and upholstery. Then they look like Mustang. But that could set you back $250-300.
