Hey guys new to the site as a member but have lurked for awhile. I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a 76. I'm needing to replace couple things. I'm wondering do we have an east coast parts vendor that some use. I'm looking for a bed panel which is really expensive to ship.

I want to thank everyone for all the great information and Vendors I'm sure you'll have all my money soon:p

hey welcome to classic broncos for parts in the east I usually shop a Jeff's bronco grave yard. I live in Canada and its impossible to get anything here. I buy online and ship it to Vermont the go pick it up its about 20 minutes from my house to richford vt. what I do is shop around and check the shipping prices when you put stuff in your shopping cart. but I have gotten deals at wild horses and shipping wasn't bad. I got a 75 but its all 76 but the registration love my bronco need a good body for it but so much fun to cruze in

Greetings and welcome!

Im located at the top of the left coast and have bought from all of the venders at one time or another. Just this winter, I have spent around $12k on parts from the venders. Shipping is always expensive for me, because of where I live, period.

That said, I have streamlined my #1 go-to parts supplier based on other "value" that I can directly relate to saved money. I save money in the form of; being able to talk to someone directly that *knows* Bronco's, a company w/ high integrity standards, easy to work with, a company that has the part in stock 99.9% of the time when I make the order, I choose mainly to deal w/ my perfered supplier because 99.9 of the time they send me what I want -when I want it without excuses and this action tells me loud & clear that they apprciate my business.

My perfered parts supplier is located in a small town in the upper third of the biggest state on the west side. Regardless of where this supplier was located I would still choose them as my go-to parts suppiler because they save me so much money/time -as outlined above, that a seemingly expensive freight bills means nothing in a mutually good business relationship.

I am as about as east as you can get in the US and have had good luck with all of the vendors. I have bought most of my stuff from Bronco Graveyard as they are as close as anyone. The shipping prices don't seem to vary much if its coming from MI or CA but the time it takes to get here is obviously quicker.

Thanks Tim, looks like I'll have to suck it up. Just hate paying as much for shipping as I do the part itself.

There was a recent post that dennis carpenter was quite a bit cheaper on shipping for fenders. It may be the same for other body parts.

AutoKrafters is in New Market, VA, about 2 hours from you if you want a place close enough to drive to. They are a good supporter of Bronco events. If they don't have it, I'd go to Duff's and then JBG.
