I thought I had sold my 70 sold on ebay, and the winning bidder backs out of the deal. How can you just bid on something and then not have the balls to go through with it. Be a man and own up to your obligations. Now I am out the $50 bucks to list the damn thing and the $1100 it was going to sell for. There goes the $$$$ for my lift and new alternator.

I appreciate it :

Your a piece in my book buddy

That sucks man, I do quite a bit of selling on Ebay, I am wondering if they will refund the listing price if you relist it? I don't know how that works, but I think I remember seeing that somewhere if you get a deadbeat bidder, and you relist it, they refund one of the listing fees?? Something to maybe look into... I know that doesn't help, it is such a frustrating thing... My favorite is when they win the auction, and then try to negotiate afterwards, or they "need more information on this item" after the bidding is already ended... Thanks for wasting my time and money.... A#%H*#$S...

send him a invoice for the $50 bucks. Then report him to ebay and leave neg feedback. About all you can do.

Yeah thanks for listening, I have to wait until next Wednesday for ebay to at least repay the "other" part of the listing see. The guy had the nerve to tell me I would get what was coming to me b/c I was mad about him renigging on his bid.

Anyway thanks for letting me rant.

Yaw have a good weekend.

Nevermind, I found it... dodrill2006... that is a typical problem with first time bidders, they don't understand the game.

I would offer it as a second chance offer to czyhorsva only a $25 loss

I have sent out all the second chance offers, I just want to get enough $$$ out of this thing to get my lift on my 77. I am still fairly new to the EB world and I think its worth the $1000 to $1500 range depending on where you live in the USA. Anyway that guy was a complete and utterly douchebag.

I would have thought it was worth $1500 also, did you try and post it here in the For Sale forum? I won't be dealing with him, that's for sure

If you go through the steps which take about 2 weeks you will get fully refunded on the fees. You will need to send an unpaid item reminder after 7 days and then a nonpaying bidder alert after 7 more. At this time they will refund the money. Also wait till this process is completed to leave neg feedback as if you do it before this he can leave retaliatory feedback...if you wait till it is a non payed sale he can't. I learned this the hard way recently (got a bogus neg on my account because I left the deadbeat bidder a negative). If you need more details pm me and I can show you what to do. I would relist it (ebay may not let you relist it for free till the nonpaying bidder action is filed) but you might have to wait. Email ebay through their help section, occasionally you will get some. Otherwise post it on Craigslist in the meantime, if its running you should be able to get 1500. Craigslist rocks and its free.

It has happed to me several times, and it sucks!!! You can report him as a non-paying bidder, but only after the auction has been ended for like 10 days. go ahead and relist it and then report him after the grace period has ended and ebay will reverse the fee. Thats my .02

I think Ebay will let you resubmit you add for free if the high bidder dosn't come through. You might have to fill a non-paying alert/form or something like that.

Hey beast, I feel your pain. Had a %umbass backout on me the same night the auction ended. Had the nerve to tell me since he couldent pick up the chassis the next day he didnt want it. Couldnt wait one more day?

Bad thing was reported it and never heard or was ever refunded for the listing. Good thing sold it to an honest bidder the next week. What would the world be without the procreating stupid.

Look like he left you some negative feedback. I would think Ebay would remove something like that.

Yeah I just saw that , what an asshole, he didn't lose anything I am the one out the $50 and left with a bronco.

Does anyone know how to ask ebay to get that removed. I am a good guy, 100% good feedback, I am sorry I got pissed when he backed out on me.

Did I change my mind, NO. Did he YES.

Ebay will not remove the feedback at all, all you can do is respond to it. I tried but unless you both agree to remove feedback or there is a court order it is there to stay.
