Has anyone bought and installed the inline hydro boost bracket from eBay. Its the one for the 99-04 mustang hydro boost and master cylinder. Installed mine tonight and having serious fitment issues. The master cylinder is hitting the fender once installed and can't get brake lines mounted as the lines come in from the bottom of the master cylinder. Let me know if anyone has run into this issue and what did you do to correct it. Ill post pictures in a minute.

Just incase anyone else runs into this, Ebay seller responded, looks like i'm using the wrong master cylinder. It takes the hydro boost and mc from the 99-04 mustang with the V6 not the V8.

Bummer on the wrong master cylinder but at least now you know that you need the v6 version.

Yeah, and the part numbers are right there in his listing but I didn't remember that and just bought a used hb and mc on ebay for a V8. $200 later and I'm starting all over again. Live and learn I guess, problem is I never learn my lesson.

The hydro boost push rod is what matters with the bracket, from the mounting plate to the center of the push rod needs to be 4 3/4" and the master cylinder needs to
be horizonal mounted. I'm the Ebay seller.

Thanks, making a half inch spacer for a 98 mustang hb and mc that I was using on an angle bracket previously. Puts me at 4-3/4". Going to work perfectly.

Here are a few photos.

I just picked up a 2002 Mustang GT hydroboost yesterday from the local pick and pull. It also has the master cylinder lines enter from the bottom. Is there room the lines above the Bronco inner fender. I need to order the ebay bracket, but still need to paint the Bronco before re-assembly begins. I see others using the same slanted master, so I assume so. If not, the F150 master it will be.

It's strange the whole unit seems to face down - I have the same from eBay - although not installed I recall seeing installations where the unit seems to be parallel to the fender.

I have the same bracket and much the same hydroboost and had the same issue. I know I solved it, but I don't exactly recall just how. Also, I did replace the resevoir with one from a similar Ford vehicle that sits flat and parallel. I'll keep looking for pics and proof and post again as soon as the fog lifts.
