EFI Computer issues

OK,

I sent a message about this to Ryan at Fordfuelinjection.com, but I need to vent so I'm passing this along here as well. I've gathered everything for my Mass Air EFI conversion ( Or so I thought ) but now I have an issue. I was waiting for the final parts that I purchased and got the computer today. It was supposed to be an A9L 91 Mustang computer. Guess what ? Its not. The computer looks like the older computer from an 84 or so mustang ( I used to have one). Anyway, It does not look right and the info on the tag is incorrect. The strange thing is the computer says REMAN on it so I guess it is possible ( In theory) that the computer was reprogramed by Ford as an A9L computer. Anyone have any knowledge about itentifying Ford EEC IV computers? this one says N1L06 and DU on the tag. I'm about 99.9% sure that I got screwed. I sent this guy a message but have not yet heard back from him. The funny thing about this is that I bought it with the wiring harness from this same guy and the harness appears to be the correct one. The harness has the plug in for the Mass air meter and if the harness was older, it would not have this plug in. What do you guys think? Did I get screwed? I'm going to give the seller the opportunity to make things right, but if he does not, I will tear him up on this forum and every other one I can find. Since I probably did get taken, I would love to hear some revenge suggestions.

Thanks for letting me vent

Jeremy
