I am embarking on up grading to EFI I was just wondering what vehicles had External fuel pumps that I can find out of the junk yard, San Diego is the mecca for junk yards. I saw some posts about F250 85-86 had them any other vehicles??

I know Carter sells them as well but I am trying to do this on a next to nothing buget..

I used a fuel pump from an 86 F150 PU. I also got an electric fuel switching valve from an 85 E150 Van with dual tanks. It seems like most of the pickup and vans with EFI had a frane rail mounted pump with pusher pumps in the tanks. So long as it is a port fuel injected engine, the pump will most likely work (provide enough pressure).
