EFI Oil Pressure & Idle quesiton

I installed an 88 mustang 5.0 (switched to maf) in my 69 Bronco using an RJM harness.

Seems to run great with two exceptions.

1. Oil pressure seems to be in the 60 to 80 range, seems high to me.

2. Driving at any speed over 5 mph an hour and take the transmission out of gear it seems to go into a high idle untill you slow way down to 5 mph. Seems to me if you take it out of gear it would just go to idle even if you are rolling at 20 mph. Any thoughts? (btw I have no tach)

Thanks

That oil pressure sounds good to me. Mine runs about 70 psi with a stock pump.

Might need more info for the other question. Do you have a VSS connected? What type of ECM are you using?

The oil pressure in my floats at 60-70 at idle when its cold, after a while of running it settles down to 25-35.

My oil pressure at start will run around 70 and after warm up will be at 40 at idle. I notice the same thing about the high idle speed coming off the throttle and kind of hanging there for a bit. Not sure if it has to do with the vss not hooked up or not.
