My guess would be a 65' 289 block. Well at least i'm fairly positive on the date anything else is just a guess. But the numbers look like the ones off my old 289 block in one of my cars but i can't find the numbers right now to make sure. What did you think it was?

I come up with a 1965 engine from a full sized ford, like an LTD or Crown Vic assembled at the Mahwah, NJ plant. 6015 indicates the serial number of the block, and I beleive the E is just a parts indicator number, maybe indicating a passenger car engine, as a C would indicate a truck engine. This might be incorrect though - good luck
