Can you guys post some pictures of how you ran the Exhaust with the duff torque tamer? (Mine for sure is going to need changes)...

Got mine in today and I'm going to start installing it after I finish welding in new longer spring perches and move the axles back an inch.. I guess I should also ask, if you move the axle back do you need to mount the frame brace for the torque tamer back an additional inch as well? Like 11.5" instead of the 10.5" back from the body mount

What style of exhaust?

I have a 2 into 1 setup, and run one pipe above the torque tamer crossmember, and the other pipe below the crossmember. I had to dimple both pipes a little to clear it.

Regarding your second question.. I would probably move the crossmember back 1”.

Thanks man. Currently I have dual flowmaster 40's exiting behind the rear tires. Both sides are right in the way so I'm going to have to come up with a route from around the transfer case back. Thinking about maybe just doing dumps underneath right behind the mufflers, but still trying to get ideas

A bump for the weekend to see if I can get some pictures of the torque tamer installed to see how you all ran the exhaust

I don't have any pics back when it had true duals but there is room to bring it down the inside of each frame rail after putting in the torque tamer, I ran mine like that for years before switching to a single 2 in and 2 out muffler on the passenger side to get away from the fuel lines. After mounting the torque tamer any decent muffler shop should be able to take care of it. I run it on both my broncos and can say it works, good product.

A quick internet search came up with these, nothing like free ideas. Hope they help.

I have the 2-into-1 exhaust with a Torque Tamer. Both primary pipes are above the TT cross bar. muffler behind it. Pictured in my Red 77 Build.

Thanks man! I need to get better at searches apparently. Those pictures give me great ideas

Glad they helped, I just Googled "Early Bronco Torque Tamer" and then click Images and BAM ideas 101.

I need to do some more flex check on mine and see about taking off the PO installed 1980's Rancho "kicker shocks" and get a Torque Tamer installed.

Then I will be in the same boat as you, so post up what you come up with for me later.

I sure will. It probably won't be for 2 weeks though because I'm fixing other issues right now on it.. I got a snapped U bolt and a stripped 9" stud

No worries I was in the middle of a front axle shaft upgrade and now I need to change a ball joint. Plus I am OTR working for a while longer, its always something...cutting onto my Bronco time.

Here is what I did. Wanted to keep the H pipe and true duals. Not the neatest job but it works and is completely removable if trand needs to come out. Hope it helps you.
