I have a used set of explorer 19lb injectors - Ford part # F6VE-A5A - that I would like to rebuild and run with the explorer intake on a 5.0 motor. The rebuild kit only has two orings, plastic cap (for the lower side) and filter. Where can I buy the small oring that goes on the top of the injector? Is it not needed? See picture which shows the red circle - one injector doesn't have the small black oring and the other does. Thanks for any thoughts.

That cap, two o-rings, and the filter is all I remember when I did mine, but mine were the older Mustang injectors. Is that black just the end on a filter?

The black o-ring at the top is not part of the filter. I am thinking that if the larger o-ring (blue color in the pics) seals into the fox mustang fuel rail that I might not need the smaller o-ring at the top. Attached are measurement pics of the smaller o-ring. I might install the injectors in the rail and the rail in the manifold, power up the fuel pump with pressure to the rail and see if there are any noticeable leaks - if there are no leaks, I probably won't try to find the small o-rings at the top. - unless someone convinces me otherwise!
