Does anyone know if Garry EFI Guy is still operating his explorer to bronco reworking of harnesses and programming PMC's? i've sent of a few emails and a VM and i havent heard anything back from him.

I have a spare PCM from a donor explorer that i would like to get programmed/cloned to the same as the one that garry already reworked for my explorer swap a few years ago.

If Garry is no longer doing this type of work do we have any other options for this ? Must be someone else out there that can program them...

As far as I know, Garry is still doing ECU programing and harnesses reworks, but he and his Wife have bought some property and have been doing a move...

So it might take him a while to get back to you...

Assuming you are the gent that sent me an email the other day you can also clone the ecu yourself. All you need is a moates quarterhorse $250.

Simply copy the tune off the first ecu and you can write it to the qh and put it in the 2nd ecu if ever needed. QH is not only a realtime tuner but also a significantly helpful diagnostics tool as well.

yes that was me.
i sent the same email to moates support explaining what i need to do and this is what they are suggesting. seems way more work that the quarterhorse

reply from moates;
"Ish. You could use BURN2 + FA + FE to read. Program a F3v2 chip with BURN2, FA. You could CLONE but not make further tune changes without additional software we do not sell."

Garry did reach out out to me. If the moats is an option i will go this route. it will cost me more just in shipping to Garry and back than what the moates QH is worth.
i will let Garry know once i figure envying thing out.

cheers

Shipping has been a deal killer for so many things these days... Glad he reached out to you. Doug.
