I purchased the serpentine system complete except the ac compressor and pulley. The junkyard wanted way too much for it. Does anybody know which ac eliminator pulley will work with this system or of another way to get it too work? What fan are you guys using with this system? Thanks for any advice you guys can give.

I'm using the explorer fan w/ clutch and you don't need an ac elimantor pulley - just use a shorter belt.

Thankyou, I did not know if that was an option or not. I have not started putting the system on yet.

Thanks,

Do I have to use a timing chain cover and water pump from an explorer or is there another set up that will work? I have a timing chain cover from a '89 mustang right now. Will that work or will a bronco timing chain cover work? Is the explorer fan the best set up? Does that explorer alternator wire up the same as the bronco? Thanks for the help so far guys.

The Explorer water pump is built different than the Mustang pump , so the Explorer timing chain cover and water pump are needed.
I also used the Factory Explorer fan and cluch units-- worth the money !
As you heard in previous threads -- a shorter fan belt is all you need to run without the A/C compressor
