Just realized I should ask if if the oil filter relocation bracket fits the EB? Driver side has like a 6" bracket that sticks the oil filter out front of the motor. You guys using these or do I need to change something so the filter just attaches to the block

I posted this question a few months ago. I've heard that there can be cross member interference if you can't clock it enough. Also, that cooler traps a ton of crap that will go right back into your fresh power plant. The stock rubber hose isn't available as an individual part ( sure there is an elbow that will work). I decided to not include in my 351 build. FWiW

I don't have a cooler. It's just a cast aluminum piece that bolts to the block and puts the filter out in front of the motor. I guess if it won't work it's just a matter of changing the bolt in the center. I really need money in my PayPal so I can become a contributor and post pics.

Looks like that center are needs to be swapped to male threads and the filter will just screw to the block

You’ll need the adapter nipple from the ford house. It’s the oil filter adapter from an 87 mustang GT. F1AZ.6890.A…I think if I remember it correctly. Like $10 or $12, there’s an A and a B, I just picked up both and returned the one that didn’t fit. There’s a thread with pics on here you can search..

I run mine without it, no overheating issues(351w, stock radiator) and haven't had any issues.

I bought the adapter F1AZ-6890-B. What filter fits it now? What my son picked up doesn't even come close to the threads or depth where the filter seal should come up against
