If you click on the picture of the blue Bronco on the main page it takes you to his trail rig buildup stuff. He moved the front axle forward 6 inches and the rear back 3 I think.

I just got done with a write up on one of our club memebers who stretched his bronco a foot. If you'd like me to put you in contact with him let me know. He's got one of the nicest trail rigs I've ever seen.
I extended my wheel base approx. 4” a couple of years ago, moved the front axle 2” forward and the rear back 2” the rear is the easiest, any farther than this will get you into you cross members and make for more custom fab work .
With the front everything needs to come off and be moved forward 2”s spring towers, shock mounts, track bar mount, I left radius arm mounts in place and just extended my radius arms 2”, the steering box needs to be relocated and the swing on the stock box requires you to move it to far forward in my opinion to make it work, putting more stress on the frame that far forward of the cross member, that’s why I went with a stock 4x4 box that the pitman arm swings forward on which located just in front of the coil spring mount.
On the rear I supported the Bronco from the frame so that it would not change position during the re-locating of the spring mounts, I did each mount one at a time and used a plum bob running the line threw the center of the hole in the spring mount to mark the position on the floor and took measurements from the floor to the spring bolt hole center, made another mark 2”to the rear of the first mark and measured the distance from the floor to the spring hole center and made sure it was the original dimension and tacked the spring mount in place, repeated this process for the remaining 3 mounts, done.
This is some serious fab work, lots of welds you're life will depend on, with that said make sure you fab skills are upto it.
Good Luck, Francois.
