Hey guys I have another newbie question, but first let me say sorry for the last post because I think it should have been here. I have mixed feeling on this one because it might need to go in the tech line but it is pretty general. My son and I have started our 76 project now. We have installed front WH shock hoops, rear duel shock brackets, droped track bar bracket, and a droped pitman arm. My next step before pulling the body is to swap a ford top loader in place of the c-4 that I had trouble with when I was driving the truck. I have a 68 for parts this is where I came up with the donor parts for this swap except for the four speed. The four speed came from a 66 mustang I owned as a younger man. It has some crunched parts in it somewhere. I have rebuild kits for both transfer case and tranny the adapter shaft too. My question is about the intermediate section. I would like to use the j transfer case out of the 76. Will I run into any issues with the J shifter on this intermediate section. Will there be any issues betwean auto vs manual spud shafts.
