I got a guy making fenderwell exit headers, just curious to see what the market is. How many people would be interested. They are for 302 small block, and priced in the 500-600 dollar range

Minimal market. Fenderwell headers have existed for years. A product that has already been produced. I heard they went out of production but few really miss it. I think there is still some inventory floating around. And the price is on the high end of the market, very high end. Might have better luck if they are large tube headers that fit a 351W deck height (people are always looking for good breathing headers for the big inch strokers). But they better not interfere with tire clearance with large tires or they will be rejected in the market really quick.

My header issue lies with the full width d44 axle. having troubles finding a header to clear the high pinion and driveshaft. The fenderwell solves that problem.

X2 love the Hooker fenderwells I dont run shock hoops so they work well for me. Im also on my second set although my current aset uis ceramic coated. Was thinking of contacting Hooker to see if they would make anymore.
I would be interested in the specs and pics of the headers your having built

Kinda kicking myself for pitching my old ones as I probably could have used them to fab up some new ones.

Look nice, Any pics mocked up or installed? I have shock hoops so not sure if something like that would fit, but I would like to get the exhaust out of the way

Nice. Look pretty much like my hooker fenderwells just have shorter collectors. 1 5/8" primaries?

I have a brand new set of hooked fenderwell headers ceramic coated in my garage if anyone is interested. Have no idea how old they are. Custom radius arms hit them. Going the custom route.

They are 1 5/8 primaries and 3 inch collectors, the collectors are short so guys can run reducers without clearance issues, don't have them mounted yet. Will have pics as soon as I get them mounted or the other guy gets them mounted.

Here's the drivers side. Hangs down too low for me as my rocker panels are deleted. So we are going to make another set that fits tight to the body.

I scored a set of hookers NIB from an auction - they are going on a 450HP 357W. If the price is right - you could sell a few sets. YOu need to go after the shorty header market - what is offered now is STUPID expensive and I will not participate in it.

I dont think you'll get any better pricing in the shorty market. Maybe a mid lenght fenderwell. That might be a seller although with all the people using shock hoops and such that may kinda kill the market unless you can make something that will clear. I personally want mids or long tubes when choosing headers I see no real reason to pay the money for shorties while leaving some torque on the table. That I can have with long tubes.

I think a shorty fenderwell is the answer for guys running linked suspension in the front. My lower arms kept me from using my long tube fenderwell headers

That's where we are going with these headers I believe. I just got the passenger side on and it doesn't fit exactly like I would like either.

Although they do look badass. I am going to take the bronco over there and he is going to custom make a set to fit the way I want close to the body and above the frame rail.
