Filling tire rack holes

I removed the spare tire rack hardware and would like to fill the 7/16th holes with something. I'm thinking maybe nylon or plastic carriage bolts(with rounded heads) in black or painted the medium green color of my exterior. Anyone fill the bolt hole voids with something semi attractive? Thanks, John B

I just used some plastic plugs from Lowes misc hardware area with the nuts and bolts. They were black but I think you could get them in white too.

Right now the truck is getting painted and they will be welded shut.

I'm still amazed I see $80K rigs with the holes not filled. I got some from LMC truck, but they are all over amazon. "sheet metal plugs"
