I have been perusing this site and gaining valuable information for my '69 frame-up rebuild for about a year now. I particularly enjoy seeing photos of everybody's rides and rebuild progress. So, here are some "before" pics of my rig (the white one) as well as some scattered shots of the rebuild.

Currently, the frame is done (sandblasted, coated with RB, and painted) and I have finished the rebuild of my transfer case. Next up is the NP435 rebuild.

Also, just for kicks, I have included a picture of me in my father-in-law's '77 (the blue one) right after he painted it.

Thanks for all of the information on this site! It is awesome! ;D

That looks like a great project. It also looks like your father-in-law has a bit of a head start on you! That's a good thing. You can avoid any mistakes he made.

...I know New Mexico has high elevations, but I'm always surprised to see pictures of snow. I love that state. Lots of free country and trails, but a state with Mexico in the name shouldn't have snow!

Yeah, he does have quite a head start on me. He is actually driving it now. The only thing he really has left to do is fab up his bumpers. His is a sweet ride. It has definitely been nice having his knowledge around.

Many don't associate mountains and snow with New Mexico, but up north, we get some pretty good amounts at times. I am at 7600 feet and we have had some decent snow so far this winter. Nothing like my previous residence up near Steamboat Springs, CO, though.

Welcome aboard! I always like to see new members and of coarse like to see pictures of other peoples rigs and things that they have done to them. Keep up the good work. You'll have yours on the road before you know it. ;)
