Well after much debate I finally pulled the trigger on a disk brake conversion. I heard a few good things and went ahead and bought em today. Ebay has a 15% off sale going on so I saved $90 bucks which covers the shipping :)

If anyone is thinking about buying anything on ebay im guessing now is a good time 2 do so and save a few bucks...:cool:

How have you guys liked your conversion so far? Money well spent or.... ehhh not really? Thanks

Did you actually get the 15% off?? I was looking at that and it seemed it didn't apply for any automotive parts??

I did!! I purchased a total of $750 in parts and had a whole $100 bucks OFF!! I just plugged in the code and it worked great!! I tried doing it again for some minor junk I needed but the coupon no longer was active or not sure what happened but It didn't let me use it again. I'm guess guessing its only 1 time usage or maximum of $100 savings. Anyways.. It works for the brakes!!

Smart move going to disc brakes. As for boosting, vacuum boost is as big a step as going to disc. After that hydra boost is as big as a step as the disc and the vacuum booster combined. But with Hydra boost its great with oversize tires and the extra weight of offroad equipped rigs but you do need to add a power steering pump if you don't have one. Disc brakes, hydra boost and power steering are the best thing you can do to have street survivabilty in modern trzffic these days. Best money you can ever spend on the ol Bronco.

If you're not going hydra-boost then that's a pretty good deal dude. Chrome won't get ya home but in this case the price is right.
