Its been a long slow road but I finally got some color on my Bronco. This is my first attempt at a paint job, had some minor runs which I have sanded and buffed out. I have a few things to fix on my chassis, the shop that did my exhaust did a terrible job. I am going to cut it off and start over, waste of 600.00 bucks !

X2, what color is that? Nice work!!

The first time I had my exhaust done it was a total hack job. As soon as I looked at it I was unhappy. He gave me my money back as long as I wouldn't give him a bad name in town. I had it re-done and brought all his pipes and booger welds back to him. It was ugly.

I wish I had pictures of the old stuff still on it. I was sick when I picked it up, just wanted pay and get out of there. I will take some pictures of some of the welds I saved and post them. Live and learn..

Paint is OMNI PPG. Color is from a 2015 Kia Sorrento, paint code is IM. It is a base and clear coat system.

Very nice looks great, I'm getting ready to paint mine too,and you did a awesome job at eliminating the seam between the quarter panel and the taillight housing, I'm doing that mod too,I also eliminated the fuel cap and light for a clean look

Thanks ! I did the graft of the fuel doors early in the project, I have since went to one rear tank. I considered removing and patching the front door but I am getting real tired of this project, I need to complete ! The fuel doors are off of a Kawasaki, same doors that Pretty and Pink used on his build.

I like the paint and the way the black flares and screws stand out. They look like button-head s/s allens?
Did you re-locate the the gas doors to align with the flares, or is that the stock placement?

S/S Philips screw, nylon locks. And no did not relocate, wish I would have given more thought to that.
