Fitting 77 302 Long Tube Headers?

I got a real deal on a set of long tube headers for a 65 Falcon with a v8. Tried to fit them on my 77 bronco 302, manual shift. Started on passenger side; after 4.5 hours and some minor cutting and dimpling of the floor, still couldn't get them to fit. (They are Hooker headers). Am I wasting my time trying to make these work?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Pretty certain a 65 falcon is built different than a 77 bronco. Could be wrong but pretty confident I’m not.

Thanks for the confirmation. Man, it would have been great if they had fit.

If you go to the Hooker site and compare the mustang/falcon headers to the Bronco headers you can clearly see that the Bronco and the mustang headers are no way compatible. Send them off to E-Bay or craigslist.
