Flaming River Tilt to Factory Auto Steering Column

I currently have a billet Flaming River tilt column installed but would prefer to go with a stock auto column if possible to make my interior more original looking . My rig is a 72 and is currently a manual on the floor. I guess I could also go with a FR auto column setup too as long as its paintable. I'm in the process of going to an auto and would prefer the shifter to be up top.

How hard is this to swap? Is it pretty straight forward?

Real easy if you find a '73 PS column. Wiring will plug right in. Later years will require a little wiring work.

If you currently have a Flaming River wired in(GM style plug?) it would be easier to switch to a black powder coated FR auto column. It will fall right into place and with the Lokar column shift linkage kit it will save you the trouble of try'n to figure out how to adapt OE linkage.
