Is it hard on soft tops to fold them down often? I don't even have mine on yet but am curious if its hard on the material to fold them down on weekends when its nice out and put it back up top go to work Mondays. (don't trust the scum that roams the parking lot at the place I work).

Yeah, I don't really mess rolling up the windows anymore really. Seems no matter how careful you are they will still get scratched. Dust is what kills them. It gets between the windows and straps or top when you put it down on the windows. I just leave them closed in the cold season now or come springtime top is off and I'm bikini top or completely topless (boy, that sounds funny ;) ).

If you must roll them up or whatever. Lemon Pledge is good and cheap for cleaning the dust off the windows. Just as good as the expensive plastic cleaners I have used. You can also put a towel on the windows and roll them up in that. Both will help, but not necessarily prevent scratches. Have fun and go topless...SUMMER IS HERE!

I haven't locked my doors since I installed the soft top (12-13yrs)
for fear of someone cutting the top. putting the top up isn't any protection. PLEASE open the door and see there isn't much here and move along,
don't cut my $300 cloth.

I plan to fix that on mine by using parts from a STC front rail. I just need to wait for the weather to improve some here before I do it.
