Ford dealer using early Bronco as a prop.

I wonder if there would be any interest for the Ford dealers to use an old Bronco as a sales prop. Have a nicely restored early one parked beside a new in the showroom? Preferably the same color combo.

They did this at our local dealer when the retro Mustang came out in 05. They had a beautiful 65 GT fastback parked beside the new GT in the showroom.

Our local Ford dealer talked with us about using one of ours for a side by side photo op when they get one in. That was a year ago. Will see if they reach out again.

I'm pretty sure many dealers will be doing exactly that when the new ones arrive.

Paul Miller Ford in Lexington has actually been buying/restoring some EB's in the past year getting ready for the debut. I talked my way back into the body shop area about 4-5 months ago to look at a grey Coyote EB they were doing. They had another sitting out back awaiting it's turn being fixed up.

Yup my local large Ford dealer Preston Ford had bought at least one 1966 a year or two ago in anticipation of the new bronco. The owner is a big Ford collector so he just added it to his collection. I am sure it will end up in the show room when they get the new bronco.

New local Jeep dealership had several vintage Jeeps of various models sitting outside a week ago as I drove by. Made me do a double take. They looked stock. Probably a half dozen or so. Was cool..... for a Jeep!

I offered to bring 10-15 EBs to our local dealer on the day you can first order the new one. He said that’s fine but he didn’t seem to get to excited about it so I don’t know whether my buddies and I will do it. I told the dealer to give us a room and buy our lunch and beer and we’d stay all day

Also. Since our local dealer is small and doesn’t figure on getting a bunch of broncos at one time he’s taking names on a list and calling you. I’m number 5. He saw it in Chicago and said it will be the hottest vehicle with the most demand that he has seen in his 30 years of being a dealer

My local dealer wanted to buy my 66 all original for this same thing. He never came up with the money and that truck is in Washington State now.

I’ve got a friend who is the sales manager at a local Ford dealership. He asked if he may be able to use mine when the time comes. Maybe I can use a sweet mustang or raptor while they have it?!

Tasker I was thinking the same thing .. Nice place to leave it over winter. But I'm thinking I'd need to fix my flats 1st before leaving it . & I guess it'd be nice of me to get a big old section of Card board to put under my Diesel motor that leaks like a Harley.

Local Volkswagen dealer near me has their entire showroom full of vintage beetles and micro busses with a new Jetta jammed in the middle

The local one in my town had 2 of them last summer in preparation for the new one coming out. Owner of the stealership is an avid classic car guy. Has lots of 50-60-70's Mustangs, Fairlanes, & T-birds
