ford explorer serp?

what year or years of the explorer, and what size v6 or v8 "or does it matter" do I use for the serp set up!

So does that mean any 5.0 explorer? Or is there some pre 96 5.0's that won't work?

'96 was the first year for 5.0 in the Explorer.
You need to grab everything, including the harmonic balancer/crank pulley (they are one piece), alternator (get the pigtail too) and power steering pump (and pulley) and fan.

Because the harmonic balancer is 50oz you need to change your flexplate/flywheel to match. The alternator pigtail needs to be wired into your harness and the ps pump needs to be adapted to your current system.

I think thats about it :p
