Fronts are kind of relegated to an IFS designed suspension. Rears would probably be about the right length for a mildly lifted EB, but since the reservoir is fixed, it makes mounting on a steer axle not very fun—reservoir winds up in travel arc. Then you have to deal with changing rebound and compression stacks to match weight of front of EB versus the rear of a Raptor.

Or just buy a pair of remote reservoir Fox shocks, made for an EB application for about $100-200 more than a nice set of takeoff Raptor rears? Not worth the effort for most.

Thanks MP. Interesting to me so many original Raptor parts are showing up on used parts sites.

The fronts will be completely wrong for a straight axle truck. The A-arm design means the wheel travels about 2X as much as the shock does. Half the travel, twice the forces.

I had a friend in Mexico recently that was all starry-eyed over some Raptor take-offs for his EB. I did some checking on extended/collapsed lengths (this was for the rear) and came to the same conclusion as the rest of the posters - just get the right shocks to start with and be done with it.
