im gonna run air shocks on my front suspension on my bronco. i have a full width dana 60 also that im gonna run. my question is, how i should run my air shocks as far as how much travel? their 14inch travel shocks, so should i set it up to have 7 inches of stroke up and down, or set it up to have more travel downward? or upward?

evreybody around here runs about 4 inches up and the rest down. seems if you split it even you would be alot taller.

okay thanks, im learnin as i go. i got the body off the frame now with my motor, tranny, and tcase sittin in the frame. i still gotta make my radius arms. from what i can see the aftermarket radius arms are about 10 to 12 inches longer than factory. is there any good tips i need to know on making my radius arms? i just got two johnny joints i do wanna run at the frame end of the arms instead of the bushing.

you need to simulate the flex the axle will have, one side up, the other side down to see if the joints can rotate that far without binding. it would be nice to run the stock radius arm frame mount bushing with a stud thru it and then somekind of u-joint attaching to the arm, that way if needed the stud could do circles and the u-joint could go up and down to no end. there would be no binding.

Usually you build up suspnsion then pick the length of shocks you need. Not the otherway around.
I'm not real up on the airshocks fox sells but they appear to be for fairly light weight vehicles like a tube buggy as they only have a 500 lb max load capacity.

Check the weight - the little Bronco's are heavy with their thick sheet metal and boxed frames.
