Where is the frame vin number located on a 74 bronco ?

Top of the passenger side frame rail just in front of the floor pan.

is it stamped into the frame ?

Yes it is stamped on top of the framerail. If the motor is out, or if the body is off the frame it is usually pretty easy to find otherwise get a wire brush and a mirror.

Yes, it is stamped into the top of the frame. Not very convenient or easy to read. Might try a dentist type mirror.
