Hey does anyone know what the operation of the electric lockers is going to be like on these new Bronco's ? Will they only stay engaged up to a certain speed like 20 mph or so ? A friend has a 2016 F250 with the factory E locker rear but it will release and go back to open if you go over like 20-25 MPH.

You are not going to want it locked over that anyway, snap an axle or hub easy.

As others have chimed in, The standard F150s and F250s disengage their rear lockers around 20-25 MPH. I know the Raptor can stay engaged at much higher speeds, I want to say around 65 MPH, but I am not sure on that. I wasn't aware that the locker stays engaged at much higher speeds in low range, I'll have to test that out ;D

Regardless, it is pretty easy to modify the locker wiring to turn on and stay on whenever you want.

You are not going to want it locked over that anyway, snap an axle or hub easy.

That is ridiculous %)

when the TJR's were introduced it took about a week before someone hacked the wiring issue to make the lockers come on and stay on in any gear or speed. Same for the Toyota stuff. If it doesn't work the way you want it won't take a week and someone will figure it out. Wonder if its going to be as crazy as the FJ's were, if they had a rear locker everything is in place for the ATRAC (Advanced Traction Control) but if you wanted the button that makes it work it was a $2600 option, after it was home the $40 switch could be installed, it just had to be plugged into the harness in the factory hole...... And when they first came out the ATRAC didn't work with the locker turned on, their own tech team had a posted hack for that the day they hit the dealer floor. I guess I'm saying don't worry about it:p
