It is the medical grade clear tubing that is high quality. We use it at work where we need to run alcohol through a clear line.
It is uber expensive but it makes awesome "gas siphoning" hose, since you can see the gas coming.

For that price and if your worried about heat issues run a length of braided line to any one of these. Small bracket can be fabbed for most.

This is where i mounted mine, 5 1/2" lift with the 35's....they tell me i have to mount higher....don't know where my friends are planning on taking me!

If running in an any water or spray i would be nervious the base of the filter may act like a funnel and fill the dif with water over time.
