Looking for some help on placement of brake hoses...

Did a TBP disc brake conversion, which comes with brake hoses that work for stock or lifted suspension. Where they are currently placed they rub the tires/wheels when turned. Would really appreciate a few pictures of where you guys have placed/set the hoses so they don't rub.

Thanks!

They could be too long of course, but more often than not I think people just need to twist the hose a bit and re-mount it to the caliper. This twist puts the loop of the hose farther away from the tire, and even the coil springs and such too in most cases.

With the GM type calipers, this might (or might not) involve rotating how the end of the hose is attached to the caliper.

No worries though. I'm sure you'll get some pictures from members here. Lot of people using that kit and several discussions over the years of just how to orient the hoses.

Here's a pic from our kit's instructions in case it helps. Shows how we suggest orienting the hose with the caliper in this position: http://cdn.wildhorses4x4.com/downloads/WH/3002-3003 2-1-11.pdf

Good luck.

I have that conversion with the braided brake lines. I reworked the brackets that hold my lines so they don't rub.
