So hopefully this set up will work on the buggy. The cable shown will be replaced with a 5/16" X 10' synthetic line from Viking. (same winch and winch line on the rear axle)
So this winch is just to suck down the front axle? Does that mean you run a separate winching unit too?
PS: What happened with the 3 drilled holes and one plasma cut hole ;D

Yes I have three winches. A 12,000lbs main and two 2,000lbs ATV winches.
And as for the holes I fliped the bracked for the winch location backwards. %)
And the center punch was a little off.
It helps keep front end down when the weight starts to transfer on steep hill/rock climbs. The steeper the angle, the more weight is transferred off the front end, so the front end will raise (lighter weight pushing down on springs).
