Anyone done this for a rusty unit or to replace with a later model for steering shaft clearance and such. Did you use aftermarket or cut from a donor? Suggestions? Experience?

re

I bought and installed one from Jeff's
Best I can remember fit fine.
Suggestions cut all the rust out even if you have to fab in some places
you can always use a small grinder
to fine tune the fit.

So you used a donor inner there huh, 2bad? Looks nice. This one is dented now and I'm looking to "class it up" a bit to not look so redneck. I was thinking maybe if I couldn't find a donor I could buy some of those inner skirts from American Bronco, but I don't know if his are notched for the stock power steering shaft. Anyone know?

I built my front end with all used parts. I built NYBroncos truck with used support and aftermarket tubs. The tubs fit pretty well and already had the notch for steering. I'm thinking he bought them from JBG.
