When you run out of pin use the shank of a good drill bit and press it in. Drill bit shanks are heat treated and are tough not like the cutting end which are hard and brittle.

i just stole a roll pin from work ;D

im glad i saw this thread while installing my bearings. ive been in the hub a few times but never noticed the pin on the inner spindle nut. guess i was lucky in it staying together. i made sure i corrected the problem when i put it back together this time. thanks guys.
