This is on a carbureted 302, 1977. Looking forward from the drivers side rear wheel well.

Can anyone tell me which port is which on this valve? My options are Main and Aux inlets and the outlet to engine driven fuel pump.

break break

Any recommendations for an inline fuel filter. PO had a clear glass one in the engine bay which made me a bit nervous for fire potential.

Thanks

Stick with stock steel at carb inlet if you are using the autolite. I don't like to put one between tank and pump, but others say the do and have no issues. The clear plastic and glass ones are source of engine fires.. Can't help you with the ports. I can get under the truck after work..

Slip a little hose over a port and blow through it. Check the flow with your finger.
In general the center goes to the fuel pump, the ends go to each tank.

I believe the middle port is the outlet side, in fact I'm positive it is. The L side is from the Main tank and the R is the Aux tank(I think). But do what Broncobowsher said and attach a small how to the center port and blow through it while changing the switch.
