Was that for a '77 xcntrk? Or was it for your '66?
With the gas doors on a '77, the shorter neck and the larger diameter, there is the need for two different size ends (when used with an aftermarket 23 gal. tank) and usually some kind of a curvature to the hose.
Tom's has one listed, but it looks straight-ish in the pic. BC and Jeff's also sell a version. Jeff's has a curve but looks longer than the others. Theirs is a "hybrid" like we used to sell with two different size hoses mated in the middle by a steel tube flared larger at one end.
Makes it versatile, but we found it also problematic working with the curve. If I remember that is. Been awhile since we stopped carrying one.
You might call them next week Maniac and see what the different vendors say about it. If you're not quite sure when you get done, give us a call too and we'll see if there's anything we can rustle up for you.
Idea-wise at any rate...
Maybe with the aftermarket tanks the curve is not quite as important? Perhaps the shorter fill-neck on the tank end of some helps in that regard.
Which tank do you have by the way?
The BC and Sherman tanks use a very short filler tube on the tank for frame clearance, while the NWMP/Sunset Fab tanks have a longer one more reminiscent of the factory tanks. I believe Aero's are somewhere in the middle.

Good luck.
