Fuel tank removal

Am I ok to take a hand saw and cut through these fuel lines? I cannot get them loose, and I need to drop the tank.

Would a pair of bolt cutters be easier? If not a handsaw would be fine. I can’t see how you’d create a spark with one

Gas tanks are scary for sure. I have had success in the past cutting hoses with string line as well. cut about a 3 foot piece and make a couple stick handles for the ends and seesaw away. Works good on plastic pipe as well.
