Had the rear bumper off the '66 that Anthony Ramos built a few years ago and took a couple of pics. He was xcentrk on this site but his build threads no longer have pictures.
First picture shows how he cut the rear bumper to fit
This is the "Reese" style hitch he made up, once the bumper is removed it just pulls out
just a rear view of the assembly
And this is a front/bottom view (front of the assembly, rear of Bronco
)
He also welded in a small plate to the bottom of each frame rail for extra support. Two grade 8 bolts 1/2"x6" hold the bumper and hitch in place.
