Thanks everyone for the advice. I am going to go for the Bronco Hut single with a flow master 50. Sound good?

Flowmaster "Delta" 50.

Delta design adds another chevron/deflector that kills the drone but increases the flow through additional vacuum at the back,of the third chevron.
It does make the muffler an inch or so longer than a typical 40 series.
They are like 23.5" long. I fit two of them so you will have no problem fitting one.
You will love the mellow yet tinny sound. Sounds crisp, performancey, and not loud at all.
Love mine.

pclancy - You can install the Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow with a Y-pipe or install a Super 50 series with 2 pipes directly into the Muffler and one tailpipe out the stock location. (Similar to the BC Exhaust system) I prefer NOT to use the y-pipe.

Super 50 Series - 524553, 8524553 - I will install one of these on my 76 when it is done.

I also have two magnaflows on stock manifolds. The magnaflows are dumped over the back axle and give a great sound at idle and light acceleration. Once in second gear you can't hardly hear them inside the cab.

If it were my bronco I would put a 4 barrel carb. headers, duel exhaust and Magnaflow mufflers. They will give a great throaty sound when accelerating but not loud at idle . That is how my 68 is setup.

i have a 74 bronco and its stock and i need a new exhaust and was thinking of going with your recommendation is there a down side to headers? i thought they give a bit more horsepower and are there other issues with dual exhausts? pros, cons? thanks

I've gathered the parts,Tom's SS long tube headers, ceramic coated and Delta 50 2 into 1 and tailpipe. Ditching my very much hated rear exiting glasspack duals. There has been discussion that single exhaust gives you a little more torque. As in K&N filters and headers the increase is probably too little to notice in everyday driving. But every little bit helps.

I like how this sounds- a little quiet for my taste now.
